I wrote that article that the average small investor would be best if you did not want to care for your investment. (I'd rather leave it alone on your investment)
The Openfolio side of the small investors could exchange their investments and their returns to the ideas of each others mistakes and learn from.
The data obtained showed that the average American investor returns have fallen far short of the S & P 500 US stock index 0.25% from last year's performance as well.
One third of investors has achieved positive returns, the others tumbled, so that the average yield was formed in 2015:

Just for the sake of curiosity, the teachers' portfolio last year was the most highest dumped in the Power industry, obviously they in energy stocks and bonds in their portfolio, so they're due to low oil prices suffered the largest losses.
